Dive Palancar is a world class operation, with very good dive masters, super friendly equipment handlers, excellent boat captains, and wonderful and nice people working at the registration desk.

| Comments: | For those of you who have been diving with Dive Palancar, you know that the team is professional, helpful, courteous and kind. You know that the boats are well maintained too. You can rest assured that when you dive with Dive Palancar you are being pampered and treating like royalty.
I went diving in Antigua just recently, and to tell you the truth I was very disappointed. The boat we went on was not nearly as nice as the Dive Palancar boats. Had to go off the boat backwards! Not much to see in the way of marine life either. It was a two tank dive and we were not even offered a bottle of water! So the moral of the story is... When you dive with Dive Palancar Cozumel, you are guaranteed to have a great time and see beautiful marine life. Lots of water and fresh fruit too.

| Comments: | We were in Cozumel in June 2006 and stayed at the Occidental Grand. We took the pool introductory course the next morning upon arrival. The instructor was Adrienne (hope I spelled it right). After the course we asked "when can we go diving". He told us that we would have to do a beach dive first. This was a good introduction to diving and it was done right in front of the resort and yes there was plenty to see. Even though we were probably only in 20ft of water it certain allows you to judge (and the dive masters with Dive Palancar) whether you are capable to do a reef dive. After exiting the water we wanted to know when we could go again. We dove 2 days later on the San Francisco Wall. It was an amazing experience, if you want to know what space is probably like ... this is it. My wife had one other dive and I two.
We have since come home and are in the process of taking our diving certification.
Adrienne was professional and very cautious, he explained everything well and made sure that we were in the limits of safe diving. I know that now after taking diving classes. I want to thank him and the Dive Palancar team. We will be back as soon as the Hurricane season is over.

I started diving with Dive Palancar in 1994, when I retired. I have gone every year since then to the Allegro, and in February 2006 to the Grand, since the Allegro was still closed because of Wilma.
I agree that dive masters make the difference. My first instructor/dive master was Allison Dennis, and this year William, Joshua, and Gustavo, Jr. (with dive shop mentor, Carlos for every year since 1994).
As a senior citizen (I just had my 70th birthday), I intend to go back to the Allegro and/or the Grand dive as long as I can.
I have particularly enjoyed watching my dive masters grow up, starting as helpers and progressing to certification as dive masters who are caring, professional, and speak fluent English to answer any questions that I might have.
There have been great dives, some strong currents...some reversed, rough water. and the boat captains and all of the dive masters followed strict PADI protocol, and I never was concerned about my welfare, since everyone really cared and knew what they were doing.
In February 2006 we divers surfaced after a great dive at Dalila. The weather was rough when we started the dive, but we not prepared for what we saw when we surfaced. The weather had become so bad that it was difficult to see the boat, but not impossible. The surf was much worse than when we had started, and we knew that it would be difficult to board the boat.
Things went as expected with no difficulty. The boat came to us, backed up, threw out a line, and we waited our turn to board. It was very difficult to grab the line because of the pitch of the boat, about six feet, maybe more. I was second from last to get on. Gustavo, Jr. was last of course, and I think there were three pairs of hands to help me get onto the boat.
Once on board, there were no dive boats in view (a first in my experience as a diver on Cozumel), and we heard later that the port was closed.The surf had become so rough that we had to get off the boat at the Allegro pier since the newer pier at the Grand offered no relief from the surf because of the pilings. The pier at the Allegro, as you know, is made of concrete, and it was possible to disembark on the side opposite the direction of the surf.

During our visit to your lovely island and paradise we made many dives with one of our favorite dive masters "William". We think of William as part of our family and look forward to returning one day to dive again with William and Dive Palancar.
It is nice to dive with people that you trust and respect and that is one of the main reasons we always return to Allego and we always dive with Dive Palancar.

| Comments: | When I heard about Wilma's eye parking itself east of Cozumel, I had a feeling that you most likely had damage at the Allegro.
I started diving as a resort diver at the Diamond, as it was called then in January 1994. The young lady who helped me at the pool was someone a lot of people know on the island...Allison Dennis.
I would like to hear from you in terms of the damage that you incurred as well as when you will get back to normal.
It would also be helpful if I knew something about my favorite place at the Allegro...the juice bar, pool and buffet, etc. Is there much left of the beach?
Say hello to Gustavo and Carlos for us...friends for many years. I know Carlos always remembers me, because our first year at Dive Palancar was his son's first year (of life).

| Comments: | Just returned Sunday from 10 days in Cozumel and Cancun. My brother, my son and I took our very first scuba dive in the pool with Adrian. Later that day, we took our first beach dive with Adrian right off the dock. The next morning- we explored 3 reefs off a boat dive! We had a BLAST! Kudos to Adrian! Thanks for a great time! This was my first trip with Blue Water Divers of Oklahoma City and we can't wait to go back. Mario and Carlos are awesome and we had a great time! It was a first for our two teenagers. Oscar was a fantastic guide and Yuri's photographs were great.
