- Logbook.
All the necessary scuba gear:
- BCD (buoyancy compensating device). Sizes available: XL, L, M, S, XS
- Regulator (4 hoses: primary and secondary/alternate air source, low pressure hose-BCD,
high pressure hose- depth and pressure gauge).
- Mask, snorkel and a pair of fins.
- Belt and lead.
- Wetsuit.
- Tanks.
Registration as an Open Water Diver under any given Sanctioning Agency:
- PIC envelope for registration.
Confined Water Dives:
- A minimum of five Confined Water dives where you are introduced to ALL of the
different skills a candidate is to learn. These dives normally take place
offshore if the conditions allow, if not, we just jump in the pool...
Open Water Dives:
- A minimum of four Open Water dives are to be covered.
All
activities are conducted and supervised by Professional Certified Instructors.
Allow four to five days minimum.
Note:
NAUI's equivalent Certification for Open Water is known as Scuba Diver. Please
do not confuse with the Scuba Diver subcourse described above. However, our
NAUI Instructors are qualified to teach and conduct complete NAUI Scuba Diver
Courses.
